How much time do you burn every day deciding which emails deserve your attention? If you’re like most leaders, the answer is “too much.”

Between client requests, vendor notes, staff pings, and the odd bit of junk, inboxes get noisy. And when a crucial message hides in the pile, you get delays, confusion—maybe worse.

Good news.

Microsoft is rolling out a smart helper for mobile: Priority view in Outlook for iOS and Android, powered by Copilot. It sorts messages into two clear lanes: High Priority and Needs Replies. Open your phone and the must-see items pop to the top—no spelunking required.

Why it helps:

  • Fewer misses: Important threads won’t get buried during busy clinic hours, class changes, claim deadlines, or city meetings.
  • Less stress: Staff spend less time triaging newsletters and group chatter—and more time doing the work that matters.
  • Mobile-first clarity: On-the-go leaders see what’s critical at a glance.

A couple of fine-print notes:

  • Gradual rollout: Not everyone will see it right away; completion could stretch into late 2025.
  • License required: It’s available to Microsoft 365 customers with a Copilot add-on (Copilot is a paid upgrade).

If you’re exploring AI to work smarter, put this on your watchlist.

We help Chicago-area SMBs—healthcare, education, insurance, government, and nonprofits—tune Outlook, deploy Copilot, and streamline email workflows without disrupting the day. Want a quick readiness check or a pilot plan? Let’s talk.
